Although watermelons are normally available year-round, these are the months when their flavour is most intensely sweet and juicy. My Summer Watermelon Salad comes out of hiding as soon as watermelons are in season. It’s a late summer treat that serves as a gentle reminder that summer is still here, even though we can hear the first hints of school starting and pumpkin spice.

This salad of watermelon adds a sweet, crisp, and zesty taste to any summertime dish.

Advice: If you are not eating dairy, feel free to omit the feta cheese and swap it out for fresh mozzarella or goat cheese.
