The Big Bear Marathon is no ordinary marathon. Run in beautiful Big Bear with miles of lake-front running, you’ll enjoy our special mountain town atmosphere and be challenged by the altitude. It will be a run to remember… but you’d better be ready!

We are arranging group training, training resources for all ages of beginners, women-only clinics, advanced programs for veterans looking to perform well (or even PR), and of course, the official Big Bear Marathon training camps for all.

What: tour Big Bear’s highest peaks during 2008
When: starts in March, finishes August 23 ’08

This is your chance to really play in your own backyard. What an accomplishment it will be for you to be able to know and say that you have visited all of Big Bear’s peaks AND that you did it in one year!

The hikes are free; our obligation is simply to preserve the forest as we enjoy it (and respect USFS regulations). Join us and be part of the first Seven Summits of Big Bear team!
